Custom wooden exhibition stands
Looking for a Brussels-based partner to build the wooden structure of your exhibition or event stand? KA-Schrijnwerk produces custom wooden stands in our own workshop in Sint-Joost-ten-Node and handles transport, on-site assembly and dismantling at Brussels Expo (Heysel), Tour & Taxis, SQUARE Brussels Convention Centre and Brussels Kart Expo.
We work for companies, brands, organisers, event agencies and exhibitors who want a solid wooden stand delivered by a carpenter who is on site.

Who it is for
We build for clients who need a custom wooden stand structure for an exhibition, event or activation:
- Companies and brands exhibiting at a Brussels event.
- Foreign exhibitors looking for a local Brussels carpenter for on-site assembly.
- Event agencies looking for a recurring wood partner for client projects.
- Event organisers commissioning wooden counters, info desks or brand activations.
- Product launches, pop-up presentations and showroom elements for temporary use.
Venues
Our focus is on the major Brussels exhibition and event venues:
- Brussels Expo (Heysel) — large fairs and events.
- Tour & Taxis — fairs and events in an industrial setting.
- SQUARE Brussels Convention Centre — congresses and corporate events.
- Brussels Kart Expo — fairs and showcases.
For other Belgian venues (Antwerp Expo, Flanders Expo Ghent, Kortrijk Xpo) we look at the project on request.

Important practical notes
Each venue has its own rules on build-up, material certification, electrics, fire safety and waste. These conditions come from the organiser or the venue and are taken into account project by project.
Venue regulations
The client or organiser provides the exhibitor manual, technical regulations, badges and venue access rules.
Electrics and lighting
At many fairs, electrics and lighting must be carried out by the organiser's certified partners. We design the wooden structure to fit those requirements but do not perform that work ourselves.
Material and fire safety
Material choices take the venue's fire and safety requirements into account. The final requirements are confirmed per project based on the exhibitor manual.
Craftsmanship we bring
Examples of our bespoke carpentry. The same craftsmanship goes into our custom wooden exhibition stands.
Frequently asked questions
What exactly do you build for an exhibition stand?
We build the custom wooden stand structure: walls, counters, presentation furniture, display walls and related wooden elements. We do not produce graphics, print, lighting, electrics, audiovisual, carpet or rented furniture. Those parts remain with you, your event agency or your stand partner.
Which Brussels venues do you cover?
Our focus is on Brussels Expo (Heysel), Tour & Taxis, SQUARE Brussels Convention Centre and Brussels Kart Expo. For other Belgian venues we look at the project on request.
How much lead time do you need for a custom wooden exhibition stand?
A solid wooden stand structure typically needs several weeks of preparation and production, depending on size, complexity and the venue's build-up window. We agree on a realistic schedule together based on your event and delivery date.
Do you offer a full-service stand with graphics and lighting?
No. We deliver the wooden stand structure and handle transport, on-site assembly and dismantling of that wooden work. Graphics, lighting, electrics, audiovisual and furniture are supplied by your own partners. On request we coordinate with those partners on site.
What information do you need to prepare a quote?
Event name, venue, event date, stand number and surface, height restrictions, build-up and dismantling windows, the organiser's exhibitor manual if you have it, sketches or inspiration, and which parts (graphics, lighting, furniture) will be delivered by other partners.
Discuss your custom wooden stand?
